Background
For years, John L. Brantley, CPA has been providing personalized tax services and financial guidance to individuals living primarily in the Ponte Vedra Beach area. My Firms’ expertise ranges from tax return preparation services to advanced tax planning in a variety of areas. Due to John’s extensive prior experience, the Firm also specializes in the taxation of US Citizens residing abroad, the taxation of Foreign Nationals living in the United States and tax issues confronting those with investment and business interests outside the United States.
My Mission
My mission is to help clients manage their tax reporting responsibilities; maintain financial viability in the present while taking a proactive approach to achieve their future goals such as the sufficiency of retirement income. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of client needs, thorough tax research, and sound financial analysis. John L. Brantley, CPA is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.
My Team
John is a CPA with over 30 years of client service experience. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1973 and started his career in public accounting immediately thereafter. John’s professional career gave him broad experience in several geographic locations including 10 years in London where he led a tax function of a major accounting firm. John’s practice specialty is the taxation of US Citizens residing abroad and also extends to the tax issues of Foreign Nationals residing in the US. This practice specialty encompasses US taxation of foreign investments and dealing with the tax authorities in several countries, but most frequently the US Internal Revenue Service.

Debbie is a CPA with over 15 year’s experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valdosta State University and began her career working for regional firms rising to audit manager responsible for the coordination of professional services to clients in a variety of industries. The accounting and tax experience she obtained is now utilized to serve individuals and small businesses.
Debbie has been working with John L. Brantley, CPA for three years on a seasonal basis and is a valued contributor to the firm.
